
We're so glad you're part of this season of 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting. Below you'll find how to engage this time of prayer and fasting and additional resources.
Step 1: Choose A Fast
Choose a fast:
- 1-day fast 1x/week
- 3-day liquid only fast
- 10-day Daniel Fast
- 21-day Daniel fast or partial fast

Step 2: Remove Comfort
Alongside fasting from food in some way, make it a point to remove other comforts that may distract you from focus and dependency on God. Some examples of this could be:
- Limit TV watching
- Limit media/social media
- Adjust your sleep schedule to better engage in times of prayer (ex. go to sleep earlier and wake up earlier to pray or stay up later to pray and engage with God)
- Limit “comfort” or “junk food”
Step 3: Pray & Engage the Scriptures
The goal is not just to disconnect from the world by fasting, but to connect with God through prayer. Be intentional to consistently pray and engage the Scriptures. Consider one of the follow ways to help you throughout the 21 days:

- Follow a Bible reading plan (see Resource Hub below)
- Use an app for prayer, Scripture and worship (see Resource Hub below)
- Read a devotional book that is rooted in Scripture and that leads you to connect with God (see list of recommendations below)

Step 4: Don't pray and fast alone!
Don’t go at it alone! Walk through this season alongside others in an intentional way. Prioritize environments throughout these 21 Days that will encourage you and build your faith.
- Sunday morning services
- Stop by the Caledonia or Middleville Location throughout the week (Monday-Friday 6am-9am and Saturdays 9am-10am)
- BUILD Nights (6:30pm on March 14, 21, and 28 at the Caledonia Location)
- First Tuesday Prayer & Worship (April 4, 6:30pm, Caledonia Location)
- Share intentional time with friends, your small group, or people on your Ministry Team encouraging one another in your pursuit of Jesus
