Next Generation
JOURNEY KIDS is a unique children’s ministry designed with your child in mind! Kids, birth through fourth grade, will experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and fun way. Through intentional relationships, we strive to teach children to love God and love people. We exist to help children find the way to live in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ!
BABY STEPS (birth – 24 months)
All children in Baby Steps will be loved, held, and prayed for. Stories read and songs sung will further introduce the amazing love of God to the littlest Journeyers.
TINY TRAVELERS (2 – 3 year olds)
Always on the move, 2’s & 3’s are fun and active stages in your child’s life! We are excited to have them in Tiny Travelers and look forward to teaching them that God loves them, God made them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
EXPLORERS (4 – 5 year olds)
As your child explores a Bible story and participates in fun, creative activities, each of these three basic truths: God loves me, God made me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever will be reinforced.
BACKPACKERS (Kindergarten – 4th Grade)
Kids are challenged every Sunday in Backpackers in Wisdom (making wise choices), in Faith (trusting God no matter what), and in Friendship (treating others the way we want to be treated).
the route (5th – 8th Grade)
The Route is our middle school ministry built on three things every student should experience in student ministry (and in life)—three things they must experience in order for them to have a personal, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Those three things are wonder, discovery and passion — and they ultimately affect everything we do.
wonder: I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my Creator.
discovery: I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what He says.
passion: I exist every day to demonstrate God’s love to a broken world.
Our goal is to bring these three things alive through ridiculous amounts of fun and the amazing relationship piece every student longs for, both with peers and their leaders!
