About Journey

The Journey doesn’t just happen on Sunday mornings, but since this is the one time that we all get together to encourage each other, learn, hang out, and encounter God – we do it with excellence.

We try to keep things interresting, even somewhat unpredictable in our Sunday-morning Gatherings.  With that said, there are a few ways we can give you a glimpse into what to expect if you join us for the Journey on a Sunday morning.

– We dress casual. Some people like to wear a nicer shirt or a special outfit when they go to church, but for the most part you’ll see jeans, tennis shoes, and pink hair.

– We value participation, so we try to make theGathering an engaging experience that won’t bore you. Count on music, videos, acting, and speaking that keep you interested and help you “get it.”

– theGathering takes place in a middle school cafeteria, so don’t expect it to look and feel like a “normal” church. The Journey is fun, unique, personal, and any other good words that make us sound different.

– Nothing is expected of you when you visit theGathering. We’ll ask you to join us when we sing, but we won’t demand it. We’ll ask for your name & address, but only so we can send you a single thank-you card and then leave you alone. Come and go at your own leisure. We’re here for YOU.
