VIP Treatment
We are so excited to have you at Journey! As you arrive, look for the “Journey Kids Parking” located off Duncan Lake Road. As you go in those doors, you will be greeted and directed to the Journey Kids’ Registration where we will register your child. We will ask for the following personal information: family member’s names, children’s names and birthdates, family address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag which bears a number that is matched to your tag during checkout at the end of the service. After your child is registered, one of our Registration Leaders will escort you and your child to the child’s class where you will meet the teachers. During checkout, you will return to your child’s
what you will find in JOURNEY KIDS class and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you. Upon returning to Journey, we will have all of your information in our computer system, so you will just get a name tag/number for your child.

Safety
We believe that safety is vital as families entrust us with their children each week. Therefore, every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, every volunteer is screened with a background check, and every hallway is monitored.

Age Appropriate Classes
We are passionate about children learning about Jesus in a way they understand. Our
environments and lesson materials are created based on the physical, mental and
emotional needs of each child.

Relationships
Through intentional relationships, we strive to teach children to love God and love
people. We value children’s relationships within the Journey Kids’ setting as kids relate to
their leaders and other children within the group. As families commit to attending
Journey each week, those relationships can develop and grow.

Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life
through activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We are passionate about
children learning about Jesus in a way they understand. Our environments and lesson
materials are created based on the physical, mental and emotional needs of each
child. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it
to their lives.

Fun!
Everyone loves fun--especially kids--and we love creating fun ways to learn about
Jesus! We promise to make Journey Kids a fun experience that will have your child
begging for more!
