We are designed to live in relationships. But, so much of our culture pushes us toward isolation. We get busy trying to meet the demands placed on us, and we start to believe the subtle lie that we have been left on our own to figure life out.
One of the main reasons Jesus started the church is that He knew we are not meant to live life in isolation. We have a deep need to live in life-giving relationships, both with God and with other Christ-followers. That’s why connecting is so important—it’s how we find life.
